Lightning Bolt Surfboard Collection
We are honored to be working with a collection of Vintage surfboards. Particularly celebrating the golden era of surfing in the 1960s- 70s on the North Shore of Oahu. As of now this carefully curated collection features 25 surfboards, with the majority being vintage Lightning Bolt boards, iconic for their association with legendary surfers like Dick Brewer, Owl Chapman, Gerry Lopez, Tom Eberly , and Greg Noll. Showcasing the craftsmanship and innovation that made Lightning Bolt a symbol of the surfing revolution.
This collection will be the start of a traveling surfboard museum. A celebration of surfing and beach culture 1960-70’s. We are planning to collect more boards along the way to fill in all the gaps of the history of the shaping revolution that took place in Hawaii this era.
Our mission in opening this Museum is to draw like minded people together from the communities across California. Raising awareness to our oceans current conditions. And to those local non profits along the way that our making a difference in cleaning, testing, and preserving our oceans. Like the Heal the Bay Aquarium , AltaSea , and the Surfrider Foundation.
We are currently building our California - Hawaii roadmap for this Lightning Bolt Museum. We are actively looking for spaces to host this show. And eco friendly brands associated with surfing and beach life to join our mission. Feel free reach out below with any inquiries. Thanks so much!
